Which legends do you know speaking about traditional care using cobwebs ? Where do they come from ?

I've already found two french texts talking about this. The stories are in Ireland and in Great Britain. But they are fictions, not traditional. I'd like to discover if the use of cobweb to look after wounded persons comes from celtic area, and from traditional lore.
