Do you ever feel like the world is living in the past?

Not that people are living in the past but they haven't progressed while others have moved to bigger. I also think it's the responsibility of those people who have progressed to help the people at the bottom but they are probably too scared of feeding the poor because they don't want them to have enough energy in order to take their fortune. I mean why keep people poor?
