The Slenderman question?

When I was young I believe I saw slenderman. I had some dreams about him and stuff before I could really understand what he was. I moved a long time ago from the place where I thought I saw slenderman. The lore is supposed to say that slenderman follows you where ever you go. I never see him anymore. Does he not want me to see him anymore? Did I really see him. If you ask me, if he is real, I think he's misunderstood and just wants to me loved.
