Religious practice? wiccan lore?

My family and I live in the middle of the woods. Our neighbors live on the other side of the woods. We are all nature lovers. Recently, on our trails, we have been finding stones stacked on the side of the trails. They are all over the place, spaced evenly. When my friend and I were walking today, we found little fairy statues...with marbles surrounding them. Almost like little shrines... there was also an eagle statue. We got really freaked out. My aunt mentioned wicca. What would that mean? Should we be worried?
