Which major would be best for me; Writing, Literature, or English?(or something else?)?

I really want to become a storywriter for things like video games, t.v shows, etc. Right now I'm not the best writer but I feel like I could come up with a lot of great ideas. I'd mainly want to write plots/scripts for video games, like the "lore" or history of different characters/monsters/races, quests, etc. Which major would benefit me the most in this field?
