What happens when a fake ID from PA is confiscated by a state run store?
The other day my friend tried to purchase alcohol using a fake ID in Pennsylvania. We were at a state run wine and spirits store and the cashier scanned his card and made him sign a receipt acknowledging his age. After she returned his ID she looked at the receipt for a while and determined the ID was fake. She asked for it back and kicked him out of the store. His ID had all of his real information on it except for his date of birth. This may sound dumb but he was trying not to be charged with impersonation or identity theft if he ended up getting caught. What usually happens in this situation and how long would it usually take for the police to contact him? Do these stores usually send them to the police? If anyone has an experience, please let me know.
